Phil Kline's Unsilent Night

Performed Knoxville's annual Phil Kline's Unsilent Night with Nief Norf throughout downtown. This is one of my favorite performance events of the year. It is a spectacular way to end each fall and to welcome the new year.

UT Contemporary Music Festival

Performed Daniel Adams' Solstice Introspect for vibraphone trio. I really enjoyed the learning process with this piece, and it was great to speak with Adams before and after the concert.

Big Ears Music Festival

Performed Michael Pisaro's A Wave and Waves with Nief-Norf at the Knoxville Museum of Art. While this piece used sound sources similar to Pisaro's Hearing Metal 3, it was a completely different sonic experience. I felt afloat in an ocean of rubbing and falling textures. This was one of the most peaceful and introspective performances I have had to date.
